:: when you come to class

: to ensure a place in class arrive 10 minutes early

: sign in at the start of class

: turn off all cell phones

: wear comfortable clothing

: refrain from wearing shoes + socks

: do not eat 2 hours prior to your practice

: you are encouraged to bring your own mat + closed water container

: share privately with lara any injuries or wellness needs

: remember yoga is a discipline

: discipline requires patience + persistence

: enjoy the process inch x inch

: work to your own ability + respect your body

:: students will be asked to sign the following waiver at registration of classes:

I have been advised by Lara Bontempo, RYT/Good Times Yoga of the medical and physical risks associated with this program. I have been specifically advised of the necessity of a physical examination for persons whose age, weight, or physical condition makes injury a greater risk factor. I hereby waive and release Lara Bontempo, RYT/Good Times Yoga, from any costs, liability, or claims or expenses, including lawyer fees and court costs, arising from my participation in the exercise program.

By signing, I agree that I will be participating at my own risk and will not hold Lara Bontempo, RYT/Good Times Yoga, responsible for any illness or injuries I may receive.

In a recent study at the Boston University of Medicine, researchers
found that just one yoga class increased levels of the neurotransmitter
GABA (gamma-aminobutyric) by an astonishing 27 percent compared to the
control group.  Low GABA levels are associated with depression and
anxiety disorders.
